Love has no language as it is fully loaded with emotions and expression of sharing love and feeling loved. A person needs love and affection as this will give a reason to smile and life to live. The reason could be anything and it does not mean anything to the world but for that person it means everything and it gives them a life. And this relationship can be with anyone in our life and having them around us gives a charm and brighten our day. But their absence creates a complete silence in our life. This story is based on a person who lost love of her life and still living a life by accepting that certain facts cannot be controlled by us and by any means our life should not stop for the same.
About Her
This story is of a woman who is in her early sixties living in a small village known as Chhapra road in Gujarat. She doesn’t know her exact age due to her old memory and also there was no track of year in which she was born. She even wears clothes that were simple and old having holes into it at times, because she could not afford new and better ones. As per her comfort she wears nightwear draped with dupatta.
Lifestyle
The house in which she was living was in a terrible condition and it didn’t even have enough space to decorate it. She managed the house with filling basic facilities and kept things that were required and made house a home to live. Scratches, cracks, and dullness are now present everywhere in the house. Even the colour of wall has faded and the wooden frames were looking aesthetic. But still she was happy because she had her loved ones residing in that house and it completes her family.
Marriage Life
Kamuben fell in love at first sight and marry the boy whom she met in a Gujarati village called Gaiwadi. They promised each other to stay together and tied a knot of marriage and moved to Navsari for better life. Bashir was the love of her life. They were happily living their life and making memories by spending as much as quality time going out and what not, until Bashir passed away and everything changed in her life. And his death was a shock for her. She is unable to accept the fact that her love is not a part of her life anymore. But she was not alone as her family gave her more love and care.
Family
Her daughters are her support system. They take ultimate care of Kamuben. Whenever Kamuben feels lonely her daughters always wipe of her tears and provide her with a lot of love and comfort. Her elder daughter stays with her and takes care of everything in the house including the expense. Both her daughters are working and her younger daughter doesn’t reside in the house but supports them whenever needed. Her grand-children also provide love and affection to her, and that is nothing less than a blessing.
Likes and Dislikes
Most of the time she prefers home-made food prepared by herself and if she craves for some variety she cooks lentil and rice for her which is cooked with brinjal and potato’s gravy. She also likes to eat dosa, khaman, murmura and some outside food too that her daughter orders from the local restaurants. She also played some outdoor games with her friends in her young days. She watched Indian Cinema often and had some favourite actor and actress.
Her Tours
Kamuben uses to work as full time care taker in wealthy household in her neighbourhood where they use to treat her as a part of the family. During her journey she visited some religious place with them and as they were Hindu they visited temples. She has been to Palitana with them and she never differentiated between Hindu and Muslim so she used to happily join them, rather she believed that God is same everywhere. Poor mentality creates problem among relationships. She even used to take care of their son and provide them all the help they need. Her job ended when her man and woman of that family died and their son hired new young maid. But they always treated her with respect and considered her as part of their family.
A day in her life
Kamuben was on medication as she has diabetes and recently suffered heart attack too. She needs to take regular medicine and that was provided to her by her daughter. But she was not weak as at the age of 60. Though being diabetic patient she didn’t have eye sight problem. She was strong at certain level but so many suffering made her weak mentally and mainly the death of her husband changed everything upside down. But her grandchildren made her day happy and joyful. All day she keeps waiting for them to return from school and when they were around her she feels very happy. She lost one person but in return she got love of so many who genuinely care for her and never let her feel alone for a single moment. But, nobody can take the place of some particular people.
Message
Kamuben was feeling proud on her daughters because of the fact that they were having their own life they didn’t give up on the responsibilities of their mother. They were true sons in today’s time and understood each and every pain of their mother and provided with a lot of love to her. Not only that but they also provide with financial support to her and even the grand-children loved Kamuben with their whole heart. People who find daughter’s as burden are certainly not correct and for them Kamuben’s daughter are true inspiration.
