Life teaches us more important things than what books teach us. In life, situations are not as per what we expect but we need to overcome whatever life throws at us and if not then try to accept it. Very rare people can do this but those who can are the ones who can deal with every situation. Well but also remember education is also equally important as it adds value to our life.
A person can make himself more useful if he gets the chance to read, write and understand. Mainly a person who is poor lacks the essence of education as they can not afford it and from generation to generation their four fathers don’t get a chance to get educated.
All about him
Dilbarnath is a very simple person. Many things gave him sorrow as many of his desires remained unfulfilled. One of those desires was to get a chance to study and go to school. He stays in Kalpur and was from a snake charmer’s family. The financial condition of snake charmers is beyond poor and they don’t get much respect in society.
Due to this, they don’t get any job anywhere easily and they manage their living from whatever they earn by doing daily labour. Dilbarnath was from a family where every known Indian tradition like the naming ceremony, etc. was given importance.
His name was also given by a priest. Dilbarnath is skinny and a short heightened person with a fair skin tone. He was unknown about the year he was born and by which his age was not identified.
Dilbarnath is an extrovert and has a Bihari accent in his speech. Dilbarnath has confidence in himself and talks in a good manner but his health issues made him hopeless. He is not even doing any work and there is nothing happening in his life. He doesn’t even have a proper house to live in. He stays with his mother and her presence makes that hut a home.
Schooling and Friends
Dilbarnath is a person who loved to go to school walking with his friends and wished for a great school life. He was educated till 8th standard and then due to family conditions he dropped his education. He liked to make friends and he believed that friendship that lasts longer turns out to be family.
Well, he didn’t get any chance in life to receive a good education but he definitely made a good friend whose success is celebrated by Dilbarnath in his story.
Today they are not in contact due to some reasons but whatever position he is holding in his career Dilbarnath feels happy about it and as per his nature, seeing others happy makes him smile.
Likes and Dislikes
When we talk about villages their desi, homemade dishes have a different taste and variety in every food item. He was fond of some drinks that were made in an authentic manner. He loved mattha which is mainly buttermilk with added spices and sugar and is a well-known drink in Bihar, Tripura, U.P. and West Bengal.
Also for physical strength people in the village play games that make them strong and fit. Dilbarnath liked playing kabaddi which is one of the known and famous Indian games. He used to play a lot and then due to his job schedule he left and never got a chance to get back to it. And for dislikes, he had nothing as he is adaptive to any changes in his life.
Family
Dilbarnath was the youngest child of the family and still faced many difficulties in his life. His father passed away when he was young and after that, he left education. The death of his father was due to the musical instruments he used to play to control the snakes, as it diagnosed issues in his lungs. The rest of the siblings were married and some of them carried on their father’s work as from young age they were taught the skills.
While the rest of them beg for food and somehow all of them managed their family and their expenses. He never got any help from his siblings and without saying a word he showed understanding and handles all his issues on his own. And also he is the only child who is looking after his mother’s responsibilities. Dilbarnath’s behaviour, mindset, and manners all show his personality.
With their respective age, Dilbarnath got married and is living a happy life with his partner and children. Dilbarnath had a broad mindset and never differentiate between male and female children and loved both of them equally. Whatever he did for his son he also did the same for his daughter and neglected the low mentality of society and sent his daughter to school along with his son.
Wishes
Dilbarnath had the desire to get a good education and become a doctor or to start his own business but that just remained unfulfilled and even today if he gets a chance he would still like to turn the table. It was due to his situation he lacks in academic knowledge otherwise he had a good mind and business sense too.
As if by any chance he gets wholesome money he would buy sheep and goats and make money out of it. If one can handle their finances, they will definitely be able to grow and do something good with any resources that they are having.
